We booked a team day, 4x4 in the morning and 2 hours on the Quad bikes in the afternoon. Ben and Neil were great to deal with for the booking, they were flexible and catered the day around what we wanted.The 4x4’s were great fun and we had great instruction from Ben and Lee.After a top-notch lunch in the pub next door we had two hours on the Quad bikes. It had been raining a lot so the mud made it a lot of fun. We were kept under control to begin with by our instructor, Lee, but later the more confident and faster riders were let off the leash a little to explore the course.Lee took care of the steadier riders and was very patient and good fun.Everyone loved the experience, it’s a great location and is run by a very relaxed, fun yet professional team. I will take my kids back here when they get a bit older!
Had the best day for my husband's birthday we did the shoot and Ride deal. Ben was excellent instructor on the quad bikes and Stan was great coach for our first time shooting. Neil helped explain all the different packages in detail when booking excellentcustomerservice. We will definitely be back highly recommend 👍
Visited for a stag do over the weekend and must say what an amazing experience. Neil and the team are great and very knowledgeable they have got this place set up perfectly. We did quad biking and clay pigeon shooting I’ve done a few of these before but none with a track like this for the quads. The course is huge and has all sorts of different terrain types, incline/decline wet zones etc. The best part is if your group is confident at riding they do let you have fun and open them up unlike other places I’ve visited. The shooting was also great they have quite a few different trap positions to keep it interesting and if you’re a non shooter they have a great instructor Dave to help you along the way. Dave’s a true character and a credit to the business he made the experience and we’ll definitely be returning!

We just had an amazing day at Yorkshire Outdoors off roading and quad biking for my daughters birthday. Ben was patient with the two kids and had them driving the Land Rover with confidence in no time. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and every effort was made to make sure my daughter had a great birthday and that everyone got the best out of the day. Throughout the activities we felt in very safe and competent hands and everyone was confident to give it a go. Ben was very good at adapting his approach based on how adventurous and competent we each were! This made us all feel like we got an individual and tailored experience.We took a little picnic for lunch and there was a cabin space we were offered to use which was clean and warm.It was my daughters best birthday so far and I think we all agreed!Thanks again Ben and team for a fabulous day.
Very quick at responding to my initial enquiry and was extremely helpful in outlining the options for quad biking.On the day, all staff and instructors were superb and really knew their stuff! The quad course was very enjoyable and the instructor really pitched it at the correct level. As our group became more competent and confident, he increased the level of difficulty.10/10 would definitely book an activity with these guys again. Thank you!!
Booked a 4x4 experience and clay pigeon shooting for a group of 4 guys. Wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Yorkshire Outdoors, The activities were well hosted by a friendly team who really know their stuff. 4x4 course is excellent with a good level of challenge. One of our group had done a couple of 4x4 experiences before and rated this one the best.Clay pigeon shooting was also fab. With great expert instruction, even our party of novices were able to hit quite a few clays. Would recommend going for at least 25 shots to get the best out of it.As I said earlier, can't recommend highly enough, huge thanks to all the team at YO for a making it a really great experience.

What a great day out! Started with quad biking with Ben, he was tremendous and a good laugh! We then went off roading in the defender with Brian he was a great instructor with a mountain of knowledge of off roading! Both made us feel like we’d been before and so comfortable! Can’t recommend enough for young and old! Neil was a great host all such a credit to the family owned business! Can’t wait to return!

We held a recent team day at Yorkshire outdoors and used their inside space for business updates in the morning and then had a fantastic afternoon of activities. The team were brilliant and made everyone feel extremely comfortable on the activities. Probably best summed up by the comment from one participant - 'best day ever!'. Would highly recommend. Thanks to the team for an amazing day.
August 2024 my 70th birthday and no idea what was in store for the day.....Absolutely fabulous 4x4 off-road driving in this 'serious' Defender. Expert tuition from Ben. He presents you with a challenge. Can I do this? Well of course you can or if not, the car can! Always wanted to do this. Exceeded expectations. It was dry weather so now I want to go back when its wet.Not done, oh no; now we go 12 bore Clay Pigeon Shooting in the same complex. Very well thought out. Rangemaster was Dave, again, well experienced. With his guidance my score was, let's say, 'respectable', also great fun.That it? No chance...how about a shot now at Quad Biking? Not with the gun! Same course elements as the Landy but some narrow, twisty bits in addition. Yes a real challenge. As was just staying on at times but Ben was there eagle-eyed to ensure I 'behaved'. Found a few muscles I'd forgotten about but what an exhilarating experience.Tell you what, these activities, each on their own or in any combination are terrific and do wonders for your confidence and sense of achievement. Come-on give it a go!!!
Fabulous day today quad biking and 4x4 off roading for my son and my partner. Lovely warm welcome from Neil and expert and friendly tuition from Ben. Made my son (12) feel at ease as first time riding a quad and defo first time driving a car. Will return later in the year for some more fun in the mud. Thanks gents for a fab day
We had a great hour on the quad bikes. Ben is a brilliant friendly instructor and Neil was extremely friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The course was fun and challenging, highly recommended. Looking forward to going back and trying the 4x4s. A*****
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with Yorkshire Outdoors. Ben and Neil are excellent hosts, talking me through the numerous options on offer. Come the day, a wonderful start with Bacon butties.Out to the vehicle, I had requested a Ford 4 x 4 automatic. A thorough introduction to off-roading from Ben, who drove the Ford over some (to me) pretty horrendous terrain. And then, my turn in the drivers seat. I had a wonderful time, and I have new respect for these 4 x 4 vehicles. My wife was unable to drive as she had recently undergone surgery, but she appreciated Bens description of route selection, gear ratios etc.We visited during August and the tracks were fairly dry. I have decided to revisit sometime during the winter to enjoy a bit of mud.At the end of the course, a surprise for my wife. Yorkshire Outdoors had at my request booked a table for lunch in the local pub, The Carpenters Arms. Excellent food, try to make time for a meal.In conclusion, a superb day out. My thanks to Ben and Neil for arranging everything for me. See you during the Winter!
Booked the triple experience, 4x4 driving, quad biking and clay pigeon shooting. 3 of us attended and from booking to finishing the day everything was excellent. Lee was brilliant coaching through the 4x4 driving and quad biking then we had a great lunch in the pub 2 minutes away, then back for Lee's dad to coach us while clay pigeon shooting. The whole day was fantastic and Ben has a great team around him. We would highly recommend

Well what can we say?!! Not a bad thing to say at all, I first spoke to Neil over the phone about prices and packages and after a lovely chat we finally booked the ride and shoot for our two autistic boys (15&17 years old) and just and hour Quad biking for me and the wife. When we got there we was met by our amazing instructor Ben who got us out and eased the worries of our 17 year old who was terrified (never seen such a big smile his face after) Ben was amazing and couldn't have done anything more to help.Then is was on the shooting where we met stan the shotgun man (self made nicknames by us) he had a great sense of humour and it's a cracking teacher and helped the boys hitting them clays and even let them take souvenirs home.All in all a cracking day out and well worth a visit even if your nervous don't worry they are perfect.1000% coming back and for longer next time!!
We had an amazing time quad biking at Yorkshire Outdoors! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.Booking over the phone was smooth and straightforward, setting the tone for a hassle-free adventure. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Ben and then promptly met our instructor, Lee. Lee's initial briefing was brief and to the point, which we appreciated as it meant more time on the bikes.The quad bikes were in excellent condition, ensuring a safe and thrilling ride. The terrain was perfect for a true off-roading experience, with plenty of hills, descents, and tree-dodging. Despite the dry summer conditions, the course was challenging and exhilarating.Lee's approach was fantastic, allowing the adults to enjoy sections independently and really get the full experience. Our 11-year-old absolutely loved it and is already asking to come back tomorrow! The course's variety and the quality of the terrain truly exceeded our expectations.Overall, we highly recommend Yorkshire Outdoors quad biking. The staff are friendly, the course is brilliant, and the entire experience is something we can't wait to do again. Five stars all the way!
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Yorkshire Outdoors, from the initial booking discussions through to the support/instruction on the day, nothing was too much trouble. We were a family of 4 with a particularly nervous teenage son but the team took the time to explain each activity and he was able to achieve a lot more than he thought he could, due to their patience and kind words. We will be back!!
Hi staff was incredible and very professional. My only concern was that I took two people 1 aged 12 and the other aged 16, unfortunately the 16 year old could only go at the pace of the 12 year old which was disappointing for him as this restricted what he was able to experience. Alan
Went for clay pigeon shooting and when I had to change the date rather last minute there was no issue, very understanding. The instructor was great just a lovely bloke. Couldn’t give higher recommendation. Will have to be back for the quad biking, looked like brilliant fun.
Absolutely fantastic experience on the quad bikes. Staff were amazing, so friendly and knowledgeable. My 16 year old son said it was the best thing he’d ever done!! We’ll definitely be back!

Booked the VIP Quad biking experience and it is absolutely worth every penny! We booked this for a family of three 2 adults and 1 child. Ben was absolutely amazing with my partners child throughout the experience from making sure he was confident to go, talking to him around the track, letting him follow him to even teaching him how to get out of the mud on a quad. This experience is perfect for families aswell as other groups and Ben tailed the experience to ours needs and experience. Neil is also a massive credit to the business, he was very welcoming, funny and polite. Both Neil and Ben made the experience and if you are debating about going, do it! We are definitely going to book a package next time we go and Yorkshire Outdoors will be the first place we are going.
My daughters (12 & 16) took part in clay pigeon shooting and quad biking yesterday and had a brilliant time. The instructors were very patient, kind and had a brilliant sense of humour - which helped my girls relax and really enjoy their experience. I highly recommend Yorkshire Outdoors!
Bought quads ride and pigeon clay shooting for my son’s 20 birthday. We all loved it and had lots of fun. Very welcoming hosts and fabulous shooting instructor with fantastic sense of humour making this experience even more fun. Huge area to explore on the quads, very challenging at the times which make you feel like you not going the same way twice. Definitely recommend as a present or just day out to reset and recharge your batteries.
We had a very fun day out at Yorkshire outdoors celebrating my birthday. The staff is very very nice and helpful. They helped me with booking even at a last minute, managed to squeeze us in for an afternoon of adventures.Even with changes in plans they were understanding and managed to plan us a day of Quad biking and archery and everyone went home very happy 😊Thank you all for such a lovely day and a great birthday experience 🙂
We were there for clay pigeon shooting. Ben and the team were very friendly and welcoming. The views from the shoot site are amazing. Shooting guide was very paitent and fun. I even managed to hit some clays! Bacon sandwiches are highly recommended!!

Booked a Quad biking experience with Yorkshire Outdoors as a birthday suprise for my 15yr old son and it didnt disappoint.Upon arriving at Yorkshire Outdoors we were greated by Neil and he explained what to expect. The two of us would be going out with the instructor which made it feel a lot more of a VIP experience.Lee the instructor was great and got and my son up to speed very quickly. Lee would watch us throughout the experience and gauge our level of willingness to get over obsticles.My son absolutely loved the hour long experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of booking

Such a good afternoon claying & 4x4 off roading experience.Ben was fantastic from the start of booking.I was looking at a few different sites but decided on here, after speaking on the phone to Ben.We started with a coffee, then claying - I wanted some practise - really good advice given and I’ve come away learning something & more confident.Gordon took me out for the 4x4 experience, he was lovely, very knowledgeable and put me at ease. I came away buzzing and would love to book again.The off roading site is much better than the aerial pictures online.Thank you all ????

Birthday Gift!An hour-long birthday quad biking for our 13-year-old son was absolutely amazing! The whole team were very friendly, professional and made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed us warmly when we arrived.It was the first time our son had contact with quad biking. Was a little stressed and afraid, but the instructor was so friendly and gave driving instructions in a very simple way. Son was relieved of the stress from the very beginning. The route was exciting with a hint of adrenaline and a lot of mud. Amazing experience.Thank you so much to Yorkshire Outdoors for our son's unforgettable birthday. We had an absolute blinder of a day at Yorkshire Outdoors this weekend! We went as a 10 man stag group for clay pigeon & quads, plus a smaller group did 4x4 driving too.The team were fantastic, all the guys did a great job of making us feel welcome and making sure our day went off with a bang.. Literally!The quad & 4x4 track is unreal, and a word of warning if you go on a rainy weekend expect to get absolutely plastered in mud! All the activities were really well organised, fun and in a very relaxed atmosphere.We'll definitely be arranging another trip up!
Went to YO on a team work day to do clays, 4x4 and quads and we had a great day.We were really well looked after by our hosts who went above and beyond to make our day a one to remember.We will all be back soon.
Booked for my sons 13th birthday and he had the best time ever! We originally booked for quads and 4x4 but added clay pigeon shooting on when we got there. The staff are Absolutely amazing and couldn't recommend the place highly enough. Will definitely be returning in the future with the rest of the family.
